The Art of Richard Stanley

I am a Tasmanian Artist working in Cygnet, which is a growing art, music and food town in the picturesque Huon Valley, 45 minutes by road South of Hobart, Tasmania.

I operate a Studio / Gallery called ‘Stanley’s’ on the main road as you enter Cygnet where I showcase my original Tasmanian Oil Paintings, Pastel Paintings and Watercolour paintings, together with the popular Limited Edition Prints and Art Cards of my work.

I have been painting for many years and am inspired by the landscape of the beautiful Huon Valley in Southern Tasmania. I love to reproduce the glassy reflections of the rivers here, the amazing cloud formations both at dawn, during the day, and at sunset, and the misty distant hills.

I also produce Dichroic Glass Jewellery, and Stained Glass windows in my studio.
